Poor quantity fish, poor quality chips, and slow service. And expensive. Insane expensive, for what you get.

I had been here beforw and the food was great. My most recent experience was terrible. Stood in like where they had said order and pay here. Waited over ten minutes where when the girl came out she assisted people not waiting at the till. Stated she would be with me in a moment but continued on serving everyone else. Would not recommend this place anymore. If you gave a sign stating order and oay here.. then take the orders there not everywhere else.

Life is too short to bother eating here.

Then there is service... 7pm and only one person working, and she was blissfully closing up for five minutes before taking my order.

And the fries look like a low-end frozen bag, but at least they're not stingy with them... something has to fill the basket, I guess. It sure isn't the tiny fish tid-bits.

Tried this great little spot for the first time yesterday. They've got a good selection of local craft beers on tap, $6 pints! Fish & chips are delicious. Friendly counter service too. Will definitely be back.

Seriously disappointing. $20 for Halibut and Chips and you get less fish (in total!) than a McDonald's filet o' fish. So many places in town serve far more fish and charge less. Try Haultain Fish & Chips just off Cook St; each piece of fish is bigger than the three fish fingers here. I doubt they are even battered in-house. After all, if you were doing batter in-house, you'd serve battered oysters, too, right?
