  Food and beer are a bit more expensive but I suppose that typical for downtown. When I went in for wing Wednesday the place was surprisingly quiet. They sell a $4 pabst and they literally handed me an opened 12 oz can. I expected at least a glass. The Blue cheese dip was completely indestinguishable from the ranch dip in sight and smell. Some of the wings were quite small. Half the size of a drummette. The waitress was also the bar tender. I don't know if they were short staffed but i didn't see any other employees.

  Great neighbourhood bar. Service is a bit slow. The staff seem a bit overworked. But would still go back for a drink.

  Decent pub, often crowded but has a good vibe and decent draft selection. Better than most of the faux-ritzy places along government street

  Been here multiple times. Service is typically really slow. I have sat for almost 10 minutes without service here the last three occasions. I've started going up to the bar... perhaps thats something to consider? Food has been great, and prompt once ordered. Beer selection is top notch and special brews on tap often... which bring me back.

  Attended a tap take over there with Gladstone Brewing and VI brewing. Was very impressed that the staff took the time to gain some understanding of the beers they were serving so they could share it with those that stopped in for a pint or 6. Staff were well versed and enthusiastic about all the beers they offered. The place has a cool vibe and is very laid back and comfortable pub setting. Smiths is on my radar now as that secret craft beer place that is just the right amount of steps off the main drag.
