  Rented nice San Rafael model Marin hybrid bikes from Coastal Cycle last weekend. Easy rental process at a fair price. One of our chains broke a 40 minute cab ride from our car on our first day out. But when we informed the guys at CC while replacing the bike for our second day they took the rental cost of two of the four bikes off our total bill for the inconvenience.

  I settled on Coastal’ s TERRAWAY 5.0, outfitted with a BionX 500W rear drive configuration motor and large capacity battery. Even with the cold wx I’ve tallied about 300K from 10 or so rides and love the bike; great exercise but you can bump-up the assist when you get tired which makes the ride much more enjoyable.

  Rented a road bike here for a day. Was a quality bike and a great bike. Came with all the accessories needed in case of a flat. I would definitely rent from here again.

  Awesome…best-describes the experience I had with Bob and his Team at Coastal Cycle! I was in the market for an electric-assist bike so I spent time on the internet reviewing the technology available before going out to look at bike shops. I do a lot of shopping on-line and had thought buying a bike through ‘A’ or one of the big box stores, but dropped that idea because I didn’t want the assembly hassle, and wanted to test-ride before making the purchase. So, I stopped at pretty much every bike store in Greater Victoria to shop-around before making the purchase.

  I highly-recommend Bob and Coastal Cycles if you’re in the market for an electric assist bike…you can expect exceptional product knowledge, competitive pricing, but most importantly for me, super, no pressure customer service…I felt totally-comfortable when I first walked in the store and plan on buying another electric assist bike in the spring for my wife!
