  This hotel delivered in every way. The building itself is spectacular and full of character, yet comfortable clean and equipped with modern conveniences. The staff was helpful and professional. The one restaurant I visited was very good and my breakfast was perfect.

  Lovely, historical hotel with a view of the harbor. The tea and crumpets were tasty. The rooms were a little small, but it was worth it I think. It is right in the center of everything. There was a group of people singing and playing musical instruments and dancing in the city center. Excellent place to people watch!

  Love this place, I wish I could live here. Everything is perfect. If you do a holiday buffet, dress up. It is fancy and so good. Worth every penny.

  If you want to be treated like Royalty, this is a must on your bucket list. Everything is high end. This place oozes class. Must try at least once in your life! The staff always go above & beyond. And the restaurant is magnificent! The seafood dish was amazing!!! I have yet to find/taste food this good! I cannot wait to go back. After a meal fit for a king, a soak in the hot tub was the perfect ending to a perfect night! Time to relax at the recently remodeled rooms! Great trip!

  If you're visiting downtown Victoria, the location is amazing. Would highly recommend the Empress.

  The Empress is a great hotel. The staff is amazing and the decor and up keep is top notch. We've done the tea and had brunch here. The tea is a good experience and you won't leave hungry. New year's brunch was fantastic. A real good assortment of tasty things to try. Entering the Empress you are transported to a different time. It is a nice experience
