  I had my car in for repair today and they managed to save me 450 below what it could have cost. Most places would have just replaced the parts I was concerned about. Instead they tightened and adjusted things and got me back on the road for a great amount. It is such a relief to find an honest garage, as a couple of the VW shops around here just want to get you in and out and bank the maximum amount for the work. Lou's isn't one of those shops. I will be back!

  I took my VW to Lou's for years after realizing there was a cheaper option that the dealership. The guys are honest and explain everything that they have done. I didn't give them five stars since moving from VW to Honda, I found that a routine oil change is cheaper at the dealership.

  A funky auto repair that's hardly changed inside since the 1940's. Eric and George to great work, and specialize in VW's.

  George, their main mechanic, is an absolute idiot and thinks he is gods gift to auto repair which he is far from. Basically this operation is one step above a backyard repair shop, but the prices are a lot higher. They will do anything to overcharge and oversell. I refuse to give them any business after what they did to my beautiful car
