  Our experience with Urban Barn was one of the worst examples of customer service we've ever encountered. The sales associate at the store was rude and dismissive when we were disappointed in their delivery service options. We were sent to their warehouse (30 minutes from the store) only to find out that our chair was not there. Back at the store, the sales associate told us that they are not allowed to call the warehouse so I had to do that. Neither the store nor the warehouse staff could find out where our chair was. I was told to contact their customer service department by phone. When I asked why they weren't going to do that, the sales associate told me that they weren't allowed to do that either. After 45 minutes waiting for a customer service person, we finally got it straightened out but at this time we still haven't received our chair. We will not be dealing with this ridiculous corporate mentality again.

  Always find great decorative pieces. Much of my house is furnished with Urban Barn. I do have a pair of slipper chairs that have always had problems - the legs spin which causes the chair to collapse. They weren’t very helpful with a solution for those chairs; however, everything else I’ve bought has been fabulous. The staff at the Uptown store are always helpful and cheerful.

  We bought a piece online and received e mail notification it had been delivered to Uptown. When we arrived they had no knowledge of it, gave us a number to call and said they couldn't help. Next day I called the number who said they would call Uptown and then call us back. So 2 days later still no call back we drive back down to Uptown. Once again they have no knowledge of it and start to give me the number they gave me last time. I guess the look on my face made her think she'd better go out back and look for it. Lo and behold there was the piece.

  I just bought The Parliament of Owls and I love them, they are cute and quirky looking and they are four funny owls standing on a tree branch and so easy to hang on my wall and I've bought a table lamp called Marvin a year ago and I have a coffee table with matching end tables that I also bought many years ago they are still in excellent condition and I love them and they are very unique looking and functional to match my tastes and it's all made in Vancouver, Canada!!!
