  Buyer beware. Steve (owner of Toolbox) quoted a reno job for me, and although his quote was not the lowest, I decided to go with him because of his professional demeanor and positive reviews. I paid Steve a $2000 deposit about a week before the project was scheduled to start. The day before his scheduled start date, Steve cancelled on me via e-mail.

  Steve renovated my kitchen in 2013. The kitchen turn out really well. We were very pleased with his work and professionalism. Always kind, polite and willing to listen to our ideas. He was very respectful of the timeline and finished the work on time. We would definitely call him again if we do other renovations around our house and we would recommend him 100%.

  Stephen was very easy to deal with and had some very good suggestions for my bathroom renovation. One suggestion actually ended up lowering the cost of the project, but because he felt it would look better and be a better a fit he suggested it; he was right about it looking great.

  He said that he was offered a job that would pay more money so he decided to cancel on me to take that job. I was floored, because of this I was set back in schedule by 3 weeks and had to find a new contractor for the work.

  Steve did a great job replacing our sliding patio doors with French doors. He was was quick and efficient to deal with, and had good advice regarding products. We would hire him again.
