  I had initially sent an email to Taranis Athletics to inquire about their Intro Session/Phase 1. After a week, I received no reply, so I decided to go to Taranis and speak directly with a coach.

  I first spoke with a very friendly woman who stated she used to be a coach with Taranis, and she gave me a rundown about what Taranis has to offer. She told me she would introduce me to one of the current coaches, and took me over to a coach; he immediately gave me the once over up/down stare, giving me the impression that he wanted nothing to do with me. When he asked me about my athletic background - and I disclosed - he seemed surprised and stated that it was in fact quite the background. He took my contact information and said he would call me early in the following week. It has now been weeks and I have yet to receive a call or email.

  I have been recently interested in trying Crossfit - I have years of various competitive athletic experience and have done Crossfit workouts at local gyms, and I was looking to take it to the next level. Taranis Athletics is recognized globally, and prides themselves on "...treating people they work with like close family and friends." This seemed like the perfect fit!

  I have frequented several gyms and athletic training facilities in Victoria, and this is the first time I have ever had an experience such as this. Taranis promotes themselves as "remaining true to their roots in keeping a down to earth vibe;" I hope my experience is not typical of this facility.

  Been here since 2009..... epic staff who are very flexible. Taranis has produced games level athletes for years and are very well known in the crossfit community.

  Knowledgeable and attentive staff. Reasonable membership rates and options. Friendly and open atmosphere. Huge range of equipment to use. Whether you Rx or have to scale, both members and coaches are always encouraging and not judgemental at all. Nothing but amazing things to say about CrossFit Taranis!

  Been trying to contact this box for months now, Facebook,emails.....nothing. coming from a CrossFit coach abroad, this is not the CrossFit spirit or ethos. Poor professionalism.
