  I really like the VI Fitness Gordon Head location. The staff are very friendly and welcoming to everybody, especially Meahan and Nya at the front desk. I have been happily working out at this location for nearly 2 years! :)

  Whatever negative reviews you are reading are probably old and outdated. This place has clearly put a lot of effort into improving their facility and service as is evident by many new hires that are friendly and professional. There are more machines than you could hope for, all in good condition as well as recently renovated showers, tanning beds, and a sauna. This is a great place to help you reach your fitness goals. To be up front, I haven't tried to cancel a contract or anything which is what a lot of the negative reviews seem to be about, but as long as you do your research and are committed to going, it is a great place to go, and I can vouch for that

  This gym has SO many classes that are included in your gym membership fee, which is already at a lower cost than the other gyms in town that charge you for the extra classes. I also never feel pressured to sign up for anything at this gym, which is one big reason that I prefer VI compared to other gyms on Vancouver Island.

  This gym has been great so far! The staff are all very welcoming and helpful, especially Nya who has always been able to answer my questions. The equipment is all in good condition and the facilities are kept clean. Overall a good facility!

  convenient location, always plenty of parking, facility is ALWAYS clean and never overcrowded. staff are friendly and will always go out of their way to help members, great hours and a wide variety of classes offered so that you don't have to go to three different gyms or studios just to get in different types of workouts. as a previous user said, any reviews that say how horrible this place is are extremely outdated. if you are familiar with how gym contracts work then the way VI fitness does theirs should be no surprise. do your research and make sure to read all the paperwork before signing up for something as it is your own responsibility
