  Hate my haircut! It's like she cut off my bottom layer to meet the next one. Asked for it not to be blunt only to have it cut blunt then have choppy ends. My hair looks like a triangle the ends are heavy and puffy and the top is weighed down. I will not be coming back. Going to go somewhere else to fix it because I don't trust them.

  I was getting my hair done at the Bay Centre location, downtown Victoria, and I couldn't wait to get out of there. My stylist was great. I paid $170 for my hair while listening to the stylist next to me with her client talking about CANCER, personal information, ragged on everyone they probably knew and I heard a few cuss words. I just lost my dearly loved one to Cancer who was buried 3 weeks ago. I was so upset by their conversation that I wanted to run for the door. But I was in the middle of getting my hair done. It was totally inappropriate for them to act that way. They were so insensitive about others around them - it was actually disgusting. I will never ever go back. And it happened just hours ago and I am still upset. There was absolutely no positive energy. I just wanted to treat myself in peace. I couldn't even get that! I'd suggest training your staff to be more positive, instead of allowing my time there to be a big downer. As a business owner my staff would never get away with that. Oh, and highlights were not the ones I asked for. But still my stylist was very nice despite the crappy job.

  I got a manicure here while waiting for my bf to get his haircut. He didnt exactly like his cut but my manicure turned out great. Hailey(hope this is the right spelling) was really sweet, enthusiastic and detail-oriented when doing my nails. Cuticle clean up and massage were on point. Definitely will go back and recommend to friends. The price of a mani is almost a steal. The store seems to be focusing on hair but should definitely offer more nail polish colour in the future. Thumbs up to Hailey!!

  Horrible full set of highlights. Smudged, placed far up the regrowth. I walked in with bright blonde hair and asked for a full set of blonde highlights as my roots were growing out. I was shocked to see the result! Dark, brassy almost brunette hair color, I asked the stylist to correct it. She tried to strip the toner but I still had orange blonde highlights and the smudged patches were standing out even more, right around my face too. She offered to fix it a 3rd time the following week. I was not comfortable making a scene or complain further so I just payed and walked out. Like was I supposed to wear a hat till the next week or did she think I would let her smudge the bleach further on top of the smudged bleach patches or dye the hair brunette? That appointment was booked with senior hair stylist Helena. She is a nice lady and I feel bad about this review on her but she really messed up my hair. I just want to warn others as it takes many months to correct blonde hair without further damage. She might be good with cuts or other colors but do not book blonde highlights. A couple weeks later I got my hair fixed by a different colorist in a different salon and it looks really good. They picked out every highlight, lowlight and color corrected it. I was there the whole day but olaplex saved my hair and it is bright blonde again.
