  I made an appointment for the following week with Canadian Tire, but later cancelled it because I remembered my car has extended warranty at Ford so maybe this expensive repair could be partially covered. 600$ might not seem like a lot to some people, but for me, that's a huge amount of money that I do not just have on hand.

  I pulled up nearby the garage on a yellow line and ran inside to ask the auto center for some help. They had no one available so i ran in and bought a flat tire repair kit, only thing I needed was an air hose to finish up. The service guy said we don't have air you can use, you'll have to wait for an available mechanic... Sigh* went out there to try and pull the screw out and the owner came out to approach me. Said get the f*** off the property cops are on their way. I said why in the hell are the cops coming, what did I do? He said Robert in the auto center told him I was harrassing him. In his defense I was agitated but I didn't question him, I only listened and acknowledged him.

  Luckily, when I brought my car into Glenoak Ford today and paid another 80$ for them to do a full assessment of my vehicle, Ford told me that "my car is just fine."

  Worst customer service ever!!!! Wanted to return Christmas lights purchased mid December that DIED already!!! Had them for a total of two weeks. TWO strands. Given major grief that the return date for Xmas stuff was December 23rd and was told to contact the manufacturer. I understand this policy but for faulty merchandise? If you won't stand behind a product....don't sell it!!! Wouldn't give me my money back....literally threw a gift card at me. Won't use it at this store!!

  I went in with a hissing tire. They got me in right away! Stephanie was great on the phone and booked me in. The guy at the counter had a great deal on tires and an alignment! Answered all my questions and even brought my old tire out to explain! I am a night shift worker and i was in and out in just over an hour! I will defenitely be going back!

  I should have taken it as a warning sign that this "urgent" repair was unnoticed by the same technicians when my car was in for an oil change only 3 months prior.

  I love this Canadian tire store. Its not the closest, but I go out of my way to go to this one. Its big, they usually have lots of what's on sale. If you don't see it, ask, Cuz they often have extras elsewhere. Staff generally very helpful. I am surprised to see the bad reviews.

  I've been taking my car to the Canadian Tire in Langford for regular oil changes for almost 2 years. I don't know much about cars, but since they are a big Canadian company with a reputation to uphold, I thought I could trust them to give me HONEST information about my vehicle.

  I brought my Ford Escape in for an oil change at the end of January and they told me that it needed a 600$ urgent repair; something to do with a ball joint, control arms and other phrases that aren't a part of my language, but the man at the counter basically told me that my steering and tires would be affected and eventually my wheel would fall to the side. The man wanted me to leave my car with them right then and there for the day so it could get fixed but I was already on my way up island and I don't have much money, so I asked how urgent it was and he said "I definitely would not wait. Bring it in as soon as you can and do not drive hard when you go up island."
