We got to the store at 6:31 not realizing the store closed at 6:30, while my mom and I were standing outside deciding on what to do, (she had come down to Victoria with the specific intent of going to the store), the kind gentleman inside opened the door and invited us in. He assured us it was no bother and he was happy for us to look around. He attended to us beautifully and brought out our selections try over the next 30 or 40 minutes. He was most patient and was happy to make sure my mom was happy with her first pair of Fluevogs even suggesting she try on a pair again that was her second choice just to be sure! All in all, excellent service and beautiful boots!

The staff are excellent. The products are above reproach. Apparently they fit me like custom made shoes, so that's good, right?

I love Fluevogs. I have gathered a collection of their beautiful shoes over the years, drooling over possible purchases in stores in several countries. They are an investment however and therefore the level of customer service must be high. This was not the case at the new Victoria store. Firstly it took a long time to even receive acknowledgement that we were there. A smile and 'someone will be with you shortly' would have been great. I was greeted with a dismissive sweep over my person that made me feel unwelcome. Then after two failures of shoe fittings, I was told 'john doesn't make many shoes for wide feet'. A statement obviously that is obviously untrue.

Overall, a very disappointing (not to say expensive) experience. I first went in in July. I had seen a pair of shoes on sale online and I wanted to make sure what my size was. So I went in the store. They didn't have that particular model so I tried a different one for size. My first mistake was to order the shoes from the store. When they arrived, a month later, one was too small and the other one, way too big. It was like they were 2 different sizes. The catch was that I couldn't get a refund: only a store credit. So there I was with a $250.00 credit and of course, nothing for that price. I decided to splurge and buy a pair that I liked and fit but that wasn't on sale. They are by far the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever owned. I wore them 3 times and the one foot is killing me. I went back to the store and they offered to stretch them. Great. After walking around for a bit, it was obvious it was fixed so I asked them to stretch them again. It would have been nice if they had come to me and asked if the shoe fit better. The second time, I stood at the counter for 10 minutes before someone asked me if I needed help. There were 2 staff members in the store and only one other customer. Well, yes I said waiving my yellow repair stub. So the woman who was with another customer went to get the shoes for me. Again, I walked around for about 10 minutes and they are still horrible shoes and again, nobody came and asked me if it was better. I do have somewhat of a shoe fetish and I don't spare the expense for shoes. However, this experience has been continuously disappointing and I still can't wear the shoes. It is certain that I shall not go back to that store.

House of funk and unique Fluvogian style in footwear. It’s more like a gallery than a shoe mart.
