  Best vet in the in the area plus the staff is awesome! My two princesses are well taken care of by their Doctor and when ever I have even the smallest question I can call and get an answer asap! Words can't express how much my two girls and I appreciate having a wonderful vet!

  Dr. Russell is by far the best veterinarian | have ever had. Not only does he know what he is doing he is not in it for just the money. He ACTUALLY cares about animals. I can not say enough good things about this veterinary hospital, the staff is also excellent. Its too bad there are not two of him so he could help more animals. I can not think of a single thing I would change:)

  I am from out of town and brought my puppy in as her right eye appeared to be irritated. We were looking for something to prevent the eye from getting any worse until we could get back home to our regular vet and have the entropion surgery. The right eye had an ulcer developing but it was in the early stages. Stapling her lower eye lid was suggested to prevent any further damage. He did a great job stapling her right eye lid but to our surprise he also stapled her left eye lid open. We had not discussed stapling her left as there was no issue with her left eye. He stapled her left eye lid much more drastically, about a 1/3" from its regular position. Over the short period of time it took between the stapling and the surgery, the staples had ripped through my puppies skin and the left side was basically back to where it was pre-stapling. This scaring made the entropion surgery more difficult as scar tissue had replaced the skin where the sutures would attach. My vet at home tried to rationalize why he stapled her left eye lid but they were unsuccessful in finding anything - left eye was negative for ulcer and stapling was totally unnecessary. I cannot imagine what it feels like to have five staples slowly rip through your skin. I really hope that in the future, you are 100% sure that a procedure like this is necessary.
