Once we got to the hospital, our pet was given immediate treatment. I found the staff friendly and accommodating. They also offer free coffee/tea/water and other hot drinks for pet owners.

They expect an emotional reaction so that you will pay them a lot of money to do a whole lot of nothing. They might do tests, and they may treat your animal, but they certainly didn't do either of those things for us when we brought animals in there. We made that mistake twice, never ever again.

They will also hold your pet hostage if you refuse to pay their outrageous fees, trust me, this will definitely happen, you'll have to pay $250 for the "emergency admittance" and they will do everything in their power to keep you there.

Please do not go here unless your animal is absolutely desperately in need of immediate medical attention. Even if you think that they are in desperate need, evaluate this thoroughly before you commit to going here, as it will cost you a minimum of $250 to walk out of there having received no treatment and perhaps a simple medical exam.

Then they take your pet away from you and hide them in the back in a kennel while feigning that they're treating your pet, while instead they're eliciting an emotional response from you to get you to panic about your pet.

As a precaution, I would recommend that one only use this place for an emergency as they are far more pricey than a regular vet. They do work with 2 different insurance companies, which can help you if you don't have immediate access to extra cash, credit cards, or a line of credit.

These guys are great. I’ve been there many times with various emergency situations (my dog’s pierced ear drums and bleeding intestines to name two of many visits) ...they’ve been amazing every time. The staff are friendly and compassionate and they’re clear and upfront about the options available and the costs associated with each option. I don’t feel “sold to” It’s more expensive than a normal vet but it’s such peace of mind to know there’s a place I trust to go when something goes wrong, invariably on a weekend or after hours. Recommended.

Then a person dressed in their businesses scrubs who is supposedly a vet will come in, without really doing much of anything they will present you a piece of paper with two outrageous costs outlined on it for testing and treatment, one will be the "cheap option" ranging from $500-$800, the other will be the "full option" which will range from $1200-$4800, these numbers rarely stray from these outlines.

Would highly recommend the VCA vet hospital in the case of emergencies. My partner and I had some major difficulties with our cat, and needed immediate assistance. We read about this place online, and our regular vet clinic recommended VCA as well.

Took our cat there on New Year’s Eve because there was no other vet open. First off I must say the front desk staff and vet themselves were very kind and treated us well. We were first quoted 2500-3500 to save him. After explaining that we absolutely do not have that kind of money the vet re calculated for us and managed to get it for 1600. Two days after getting our cat back we had to take him back to our vet that is now open it turns out he was not doing well and our vet basically had to redo what they had done and give him an anti inflamitory which the vet hospital had not prescribed. Our vet charged us only 300 for this. 300 compared to 1600 ( let me remind you that is the reduced rate) is a bit insane. Of course you would pay more for after hours but 1300 more!?! Again I don’t blame the vet herself she was very kind and obviously does not decide the prices herself. But the company should be ashamed. It will take us several months to pay back the credit card debit we needed to use to save our cat, but I am THANKFUL that we had the credit card to use so that we could save him. I cannot imagine how I would feel if my cat died because a company’s outrages rates made it so that we couldn’t afford to save him. Please reconsider your rates, pets are family members their pain and suffering should never be exploited for profit.

First you have to wait in their depressing waiting room for a long time, it gives you time to stew.

I think VCA is very efficient, caring, and I strongly recommend them.

Then they sit you down in an examination room and let you stew for another half hour.

Expensive but highly efficient and caring. Good service. Great equipment and friendly staff. I would recommend only using in the case of an emergency because the fees are much higher than a regular vet clinic, but I am grateful such a place exists, and they do their job well.

Let's go over how they run this business, and don't for a minute imagine these people as compassionate or even competent vets, these people are sheisters.

It's a money making scheming business that's run and operated by terrible people who don't care for people or animals. They're there to take your wallet, that's it.
