  We stumbled upon the Madrona Gallery several year ago, and were delighted to get to know Michael. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and such a fantastic atmosphere in his gem of a gallery. We have since purchased 5 paintings from him (one of which he sourced for us at another gallery after letting him know that we dearly wanted it!), and I'm sure that there will be more in the future. I wish we could get out to Victoria more often, just to drop in, say hi, and see what is new.

  This has to be, in my opinion, the best art gallery in Victoria, where we have a lot of really good galleries. The showcased works and artists are changed every couple of weeks or so and they are always superlative displays. Not a stuffy-attitude place, great works paired with a some whimsical. Always tasteful interesting and sure to make you stop and browse.

  It got better, as we've never seen such well packed items, and we even got the bonus of follow-up emails to make sure we were happy.

  The staff are welcoming and friendly, the gallery itself is beautifully curated, and not once did I feel out of place (being in the plainest of plain clothes as I was). There's no pressure of any sort, just gorgeous and unique artwork. I was lucky enough to visit the day after an exhibit for Morgana Wallace opened, and was doubly lucky to get one of her pieces for myself! I'd you have the time definitely stop in to see the collections, and if Morgana has an exhibit... free up some time and go for sure!

  This gallery was the highlight of our Victoria trip. Michael, the owner, went out of his way to make us feel welcome, and spend a lot of time with us talking about the artwork there. We purchased a few items, which were very reasonably priced, and we went home happy.

  Great gallery with fabulous artists. The curators are so personable. The owner seems like a really nice guy.
