  Cory is a very good listener and I feel she cut my hair very well but didn't hesitate to tell me what was actually possible within the limitations of my hair. She has a good chair-side manner.

  This is the second time that Lex has cut my hair and it is the second time I have loved it. Lex is brilliant. She has an ability to read a person's personality and how their hair works and suggests/creates a cut that you can love everyday. She rocks.

  Great salon, with a sustainable focus in the products they use and sell. I've had my hair done twice now by Julie, who is great. She listens to what you'd like done and talks you through what she can do to get the results you want. She was also very helpful with tips for someone, like me, who is a novice at doing her own hairstyling. She's very personable and likes to chat. I usually prefer keeping quiet, but she does a good job at making you feel comfortable and I found myself chatting away with her. She keeps up to date with new techniques and is very knowledgable about how to deal with different hair types. Would definitely recommend.

  Great salon! I loved the look and vibe in the new Fernwood location. Emerald gave me a great cut and I felt super comfortable making a big change with her (I cut off about 12 inches!).

  I absolutely love going to design house salon. Always a great time and great customer service. It's comfortable and the stylists know their stuff!
