A poorly designed building filled with overpriced products. Staff seems friendly. Managed to find some good stuff but only after looking hard, and then headed to the till to pay. I am 36 years old. I was asked for ID, as was the gentleman in front of me that looked like he was in his mid forty's. Apparently he was only 34. I don't have my ID because I am 36 and the government only requires you to present your ID if you are under 35. But, this idiotic management has decided that they need to have there own policy and require everyone under 40 years old to have ID. I have been drinking legally for 19 years in Canada. I just wasted ten minutes of my life searching for a few good products that were in this stores sea of inadequate garbage, only to be told I can not buy from them because they are trying to be safe and not get in trouble perhaps? Good job deciding on an annoying, unnecessary policy that benefits no one and pisses everyone in their thirties off. I will never be back and will tell everyone I know how poor the selection is. Literally only name brand National companies get to sell their stuff at this overly fancy establishment. Put some thought into how you run your store or it's going to go out of business.

A truly beautiful liquor store. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was even able to find a couple of products that I had been searching around town for and had no luck.

I feel that this store is trying for a bit too much as far as liquor stores go. A mountain equipment co-op would fight right in with the way it's set up now. Good old fashioned Esquimalt Tudor House is dearly missed and still something that is a desire of local inhabitants.

I've been to two art events at this location and both have been wonderful. Great selections of wine to taste test while viewing the art and delicious food.
