  We enjoyed our stay at Double Tree by Hilton. We were offered their signature fresh house baked walnut cookies upon arrival and bottles of water. I thought that was a sweet touch. Comfortable clean rooms and great location. Attentive hotel staff. We had a minor electrical issue in our room the first night and they kindly located us to a higher floor the second floor for the second night. We were providrd with a complemetary breakfast buffet at their hotel cafe. Simple buffet - definitely go early while the food is fresh, otherwise it sits out in warmers - which is common practice. Overall we enjoyed the proximity to the harbour and an short walk to the Bay centre for shopping and several dinning options.

  Yay! Spent 2 nights here and had a very enjoyable time! We had one of the suites with a huge counter, sink, microwave, bar fridge, and cupboards. Loved having the bedroom in its own room, and a closed washroom, and the dinning table. It was such an amazing apartment set up!

  The valet in the evenings was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was hot and delicious. We even had the chief stop at our table and ask how everything was going.

  Great location in Victoria. The staff was super friendly and the room was spacious. Would stay here again. Be sure to check out the pub on the lower level, they have a great selection of craft beers.

  Honestly, we had the most amazing stay at DoubleTree in Victoria. This year we have booked our vacation strategically to travel with our dog. Besides the lovely room we have never had better service. Typically you cannot leave your dog alone in your room, however DoubleTree allows this so you can go for a nice dinner downtown instead of getting the usual take-out to accommodate your pup. Our dog unfortunately started howling while we were out for dinner, and DoubleTree gave us a shout and asked if they had our permission to take him for a walk!! We were able to finish our dinner and come back to our dog hanging out in reception with the staff. Not only will we stay here next time, we are actually looking for reasons to go!
