Very casual and relaxed place. Able to get snacks and drinks. Movie was funny. Nice to see the film festival keeping the theater going

This place is without a doubt, the most charming movie theatre I've been to.

Oh, and as a bonus, the staff also saw fit to play short, awesome, TED Talks instead of the awful commercials for real estate and liposuction that precede movies at a lot of places here in the United States.

I decided to catch a showing of 'The Tale of Princess Kaguya' on a whim, and I'm really glad I did. The staff and my fellow patrons were both conscientious and polite, the popcorn was perfect, the drink selection was great, and the ambience is something that bigger establishments are going to struggle to replicate.

Simply old, and not in a good way. It's the kind of place that has been neglected so long that it's now become 'hipster'. Literally just an old theatre

As a trifle, the seats were a little uncomfortable, but not in a way that interfered with my experience. Needless to say, I'll definitely coming back for another show, should I ever find myself in Victoria again.

I come here to see the VFF movies and the odd screening of a film I can't see anywhere else. The screen sits lower than even the seats that are furthest in the back. Good local eats and booze for those who like a little party while they're at the movies.

Good for movies that get passed by the mainstream theatres.
