  Had 2 moves with them, the first? GREAT but the second? Not! Judging by the reviews...it's hit and miss, and when they miss...they REALLY miss. Their coverage policy renders your damage claim virtually useless. Not only that but it takes Mandi (the Customer Service Rep) over 2 months to get back at you because "Their repairs people run their own companies", so essentially, you are out of luck. For you to be covered, everything must be boxed by them...at a price of course, so anything is at risk...good luck to you. They have to pack it to be protected. Essentially, they will move away from any claim with a justification that sounds legit to them, I am sure they will respond to this but in the end...it's your risk! Their call takers are very professional (for that they get a star) but you truly take a chance. Also, no job lasts less than 6 hours and you are paying for breaks. Call a buddy, at least they will care, or pay more for proper movers that stand by some sort of coverage. I am not alone on this...my Facebook page lit up with message of "what did you expect?" - In Victoria BC.

  Previously, our moves were within Victoria, but this time we went from Victoria to Sidney BC, considerably more of a move.

  Our crew, Victor and John M, arrived 15 mins earlier than scheduled, checked out the layout of the house, and got to work. Despite being under the impression this was supposedly a 'quick couple of hours' job, the move ended up taking just over five hours, involving a lot of large, heavy furnishings. Victor and John took it all in stride, worked with a cheerful attitude and professionalism.

  I arrived at the new house, followed soon after by the crew. Even though by this time it was completely dark out, they quickly unloaded the truck and brought in our carefully wrapped furniture. When my partner arrived a bit later, Victor and John were more than happy to rearrange some heavy pieces to my partner's specifications.

  We had Ken and Barry move us from Calgary to Penticton in early January. We had never hired movers before and we had some trepidation. From the first phone call Ken and Barry were on it. They were well equipped and wrapped and loaded everything carefully with a great attention to detail. They kept in touch about timing and showed up as and when promised. They unloaded with the same care, energy and good humour. We have a wickedly heavy fold out bed which they wrangled without complaint. These guys are a great team and made our move happen without a hitch. Worth every penny.

  At all times they were friendly, courteous, and pleasant to deal with. They went above and beyond what was expected, and we would gladly use them again, and have no hesitations recommending them to anyone considering a move.

  Such an excellent experience! My in-laws hired a three-man crew for an 8 am start and the boys were on time and got right to work. They went above and beyond what a stock move entails, making sure that their clients' needs and requests were attended to, all while fulfilling their actual moving duties. We fully recommend this company for anyone looking for an affordable move from a local owner who contributes much to organizations around town. Thanks 2 Burley Men!
