  I would have preferred to know that I was only getting 2 movers instead of 3, and what their hourly rate was, ahead of time rather than the day of the move. The reduced manpower put some extra time pressure on the move, and the unexpected rate change made me feel like I was being swindled.

  My experience with Hendra Moving & Storage was a first for me (I had previously used Budget and my friends) and I was somewhat anxious (would they lose my things, would they break anything, etc). The staff were extremely professional, easy to communicate with and the movers were amazing. Everything arrived as it left - in one piece.They were cheerful, helpful and very accommodating. They were a joy to interact with and made the experience and transition from one city to another very easy and pain-free. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

  This company help my mother move out of a small bachelor suite into a one bedroom apartment. My mother, brother and myself even helped the two movers with unloading the truck and taking stuff out of the elevator into her apartment and they charged her $500, she feels like they robbed her for such a small move.

  Very Professional service provided. On-time, efficient and attention to detail. They care about your stuff and wrap everything in heavy blankets. We are very happy with our service of declutter storage and looking forward to our upcoming overall move. A company that goes out of its way to customize your move at a great value.

  Overall good, the movers were friendly and very efficient, prices were reasonable. However, both the pick up and drop off of my things were HOURS late with little to no communication. The pick up time was 4 hours late, I had to phone multiple times and was told each time that they were definitely on their way. The drop off was nearly 6 hours late due to the ferries. I understand that the ferries are busy, and sometimes you miss a ferry or it's busier than expected, but they should have reserved. I booked more than a month ahead of time, so they would have had plenty of time to reserve. Again, they didn't phone me to communicate this, I had to phone them when they didn't show up on time.

  The only complaint I would have is my original quote was for 3 movers, but on both my move in and move out date, only 2 movers were dispatched. I was charged a reduced hourly rate to reflect this, which I appreciated, but the rate for 2 movers was not as competitive as other moving companies in the area.

  I would use Hendra again, mainly because the movers themselves were excellent. But I will be reviewing other options as well.
