Lots of beautiful scenery. I go during the day and it doesn’t seem too bad. In the summer i don’t think you want to swim in this lake, but either way it’s a beautiful hike. Highly suggested. Easy walk. Good for the older generation.

Go with the family regularly during the warmer months for walks and swimming. Both spots are easily accessible and have public restrooms close to the parking lots. Beautiful trail system and warm water in the summer to swim in. Our 2 year old loves playing in the sand and swimming here.

The park is looking good this winter even with all the rain. Some of the ducks have taken to swimming in puddles. Paths are quite clear and dead wood has been cleared recently. Watch out for excited muddy dogs.

LOVE this park. The 10k trail around is perfect for a long walk. Playgrounds for kids. Swimming is good as long as there is no algae bloom. Dogs are generally off-leash and not allowed on the beach areas during certain months. Parts of the trail and fields can be really muddy. Lovely to see the horse riders. Bikes are restricted to certain (very few) areas. Canoes, kayaks, small boats and fishing can be great ways to enjoy these lakes.

Love this place. Small park for children. Ten km in walking trails around the lake. Very dog friendly.

Beautiful place, and it is pet friendly during the winter and fall. Good place to hike with kids. I has some bench around the lake. Also there are a kids area where and tables where families can do a picnic.
