  Old ownership would have earned an easy 5 stars. New ownership not so much... My meal came out with hash potatoes not thoroughly cooked, my fiance's meal was the wrong order and they removed the most amazing '222' dish that we all loved! Plus no more maple bacon which was to die for!

  The restaurant itself is beautiful. I sat on the "deck" which had a warm wood fire place. The rain could be heard overhead hitting the tarpaulin cover. It was serene.

  Don’t fix what isn’t broken! This place use to be my favourite breakfast place in Victoria... they have removed the best things off the menu and have added some questionable choices. The service was very slow and our waitress was not very friendly. We asked her if she knows when our food will be up and she said “soon. There’s a whole other room that’s full who ordered when you sat down”. All in all, we won’t be back unfortunately. (Also, all the fresh made bakery items are gone! )

  The food was over priced. I ordered the BLT sandwich on sourdough. The sourdough was the same as you would find in some of the $7 breakfast places in town. I was not impressed. It came with a salad which was pleasing esthetically but nothing to write home about taste-wise.

  Love this place! I had the breakfast sandwich with roasted tomatoes on the side and it was delicious! Nice atmosphere and great food! Neat history in this building and rental suites upstairs???
