  I own a 2012 BMWX5. Obtaining a service appointment has been difficult due to an inefficient central booking system. A recent recall for a drive line problem resulted in a 3 week wait and I accepted the appointment on May 24th even though it was an inconvenient time for me. I showed up for the appointment and left my car and was mid way home (a 45 minute drive) when I received a call that the part was not in stock and I had to return to pick up my car. In all, I and my ride in the pick up car, wasted 2 hours and of course my car is still not fixed with an other appointment to be decided. The Gain Group has a monopoly on Vancouver Island. Let's hope this is not an indication of the future.

  I own a BMW M3. I brought the vehicle to Gain for a service assessment earlier this year. The required work estimate was >200% overpriced compared with dealerships in Alberta and Ontario. Moreover, the technicians seemed to be preoccupied with up-selling me unneeded products. Avoid GAIN if at all possible.
